Toyota Unveils New Innova Crysta At The Auto Expo

Japanese carmaker, Toyota, has unveiled the latest version of the popular 7-seater MPV, Innova in India at the 2016 Auto Expo. Christened as the Innova Crysta, the MPV is completely new ground-up. While Toyota has refrained from sharing the MPV’s tech-specs, the company has announced that the Innova Crysta will get an automatic transmission this time around. The Innova Crysta then, in all possibility, will be launched with both petrol and diesel engines, with the petrol being paired to the automatic transmission.


The company has also revealed that the Innova will get 3 new exterior colour options, standard airbags and ABS across the range and the following features:


Introduction of three new colors Automatic Climate Control with Rear Auto Cooler
17 Alloy wheels 7” Audio with  Navigation
Smart Entry System  with Start/ Stop Button Cruise Control
Easy Closer back door Power driver seat
Chrome Window Lining 1-touch tumble 2nd row seats
  1-touch 3rd row space up seats
  Front seat with easy slide from rear


The Innova is expected to be powered by a 2.4-lt diesel engine and a 2.0-lt petrol engine. Toyota will be launching the new Innova in India later this year.
