Nissan Launches Petrol Powered Micra, Available With CVT Automatic Transmission Only

Japanese carmaker Nissan has launched automatic petrol variant of the Micra hatchback in India at a starting price of Rs 5.99 lakh, ex-showroom for the XL variant. The CVT Micra will also be available in XV variant at Rs 6.735 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. Interesting, Nissan has not launched a petrol manual variant of the Micra yet.

 

The Micra automatic is powered by a 1.2-lt, 3-cylinder petrol engine mated to a 5-speed CVT transmission. The engine makes a maximum power of 77PS and Nissan claims a fuel efficiency of 19.34 kmpl for the petrol automatic Micra. The Micra is manufactured locally at the company’s Oragadam plant in Chennai.
