Fiat has improved the performance of its C-segment sedan, the Linea. The Fiat Linea petrol was already available in India with 2 iterations of the 1,368-cc petrol engine, with the more powerful Linea T-Jet making 114PS of maximum power and 207Nm of maximum torque. After the update, the Linea 125S now makes 125PS of maximum power and 208Nm maximum torque. Maximum torque was previously attained at 2,200 rpm while the Linea 125S gets it between 2,000-3,500 rpm. The said changes now make the Linea 125S the most powerful car in its segment.
The Linea 125S is mated to the same 5-speed manual transmission and is priced at Rs 10.46 lakh, ex-showroom. It also gets a new touchscreen infotainment system with navigation.
Besides Linea, Fiat has upped the power rating of Avventura and Punto EVO as well, all variants of which will get a 93PS diesel engine now onwards. The prices for Avventura now start at Rs 7.87 lakh, ex-showrrom and for the Punto EVO, the prices start at Rs 6.81 lakh for the PowerTech series.
The Avventura and Punto EVO also get the multifunctional touchscreen infotainment system with navigation.
