Redi-GO, the latest product from Datsun India has started off well with about 10,000 bookings registered by the second month of its launch. The company says most of the bookings are from metropolitan cities and tier 2 cities, which is expected. The redi-GO competes with the Alto 800 and Renault Kwid. (Interesting read - Datsun redi-GO vs Renault Kwid) It was launched at Rs 2.39 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi for the entry-level variant. The redi-GO boasts of company claimed fuel efficiency of 25.17 kmpl. Datsun is also offering an optional 2/3years warranty with free roadside assistance in addition to standard 2 year/unlimited kilometer warranty with the redi-GO to make the package more alluring.
