Honda has already cleared that it’ll bring the new Jazz in India in end-2014 or early 2015. After having previewed the Jazz at the recently concluded Indian Auto Expo, the Japanese manufacturer is testing the new Jazz in India.
The test prototype of the Jazz that has been spotted ran on black steel rims instead of the 10 (5x2) spoke alloys on the Jazz previewed at the Auto Expo. Other designing cues remain the same though Honda has refrained from putting any variant nomenclature on the car. While it is expected that the new Jazz will come in both petrol and diesel engines, the prototype spotted didn’t have any badging (i-Dtec or i-Vtec).
New Honda Jazz Spotted - The prototype does away with 10 spoke alloys and sports bare basic black rims, glasses are tinted and the car doesn't display any nomenclature.
As a reminder, the new Honda Jazz might be launched with the same 1.5-lt Earth Dreams motor that powers the current Amaze and City. As far as the petrol engine is concerned, the new Jazz will get the 1.2-lt i-Vtec motor of the Brio.
